The club was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. The Astros have made the playoffs 3 times in their 16 years as a Appalachian League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2003. In the last 10 seasons, the Astros have missed the playoffs 8 times.
