Dubois Pounds GULF Pitchers This Week Monday, August 23rd , 1999 Jason Dubois of the GCL Mets culminated a sensational week of play by being named the Gulf Coast League Player of the Week. He rocked the opposition with a .360 batting average, 9 hits in 25 at-bats, 7 home runs and 18 RBIs while scoring 11 times. Thus far this season in 58 games Dubois is batting .353 with 32 home runs, 80 RBIs and 59 runs scored. He has 71 hits in 201 at-bats. |
