Gulf Coast League North Winner is GCL Royals Tuesday, August 24th , 2004 Heath Rollins said it takes "a lot of dedication and sacrifice" to win a division title. That's why he and his GCL Royals teammates were so excited to celebrate their Gulf Coast League North championship today. "It's been a team effort all year long," he said. "You don't get to this point without the guys in the room believing in what we're doing." That belief has paced the club to a 38-21 record on the season. It is the club's 4th Gulf Coast League North championship and puts them in position for their 2nd Gulf Coast League championship. "It's a talented bunch in that room," manager Jordan Cirigliano said pointing to his celebrating players. "I wouldn't bet against us." |
