Brown's Hit Streak Over Friday, July 25th , 1997 Lady Luck was not on the side of Adrian Brown or his teammates today at T-Bones Fields. Everything went the way of the Baton Rouge T-Bones, who not only came away with the 1-0 victory over Bend, but also held Brown hitless in 4 at-bats to put an end to his 20-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Brown said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." Brown on the season is batting .475 with 1 home run.
