Princeton's Nerei Acclaimed Best NYPL Hitter Saturday, August 1st , 1998 At only 25 years of age, Yuji Nerei could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Princeton DevilRays, as July was one to remember for the first baseman and he has captured the New York-Pennsylvania League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .376 with 3 home runs, 22 RBIs and 15 runs scored. |
