Woodard Nabs MIDW Weekly Award Monday, May 10th , 2004 It was an exceptional week for Johnny Woodard of the Fort Wayne Wizards. First he beat the devil out of the ball, hitting .423 and as you would expect, he was voted the Player of the Week in the Midwest League. Last week Woodard went 11-for-26, notched 4 home runs and 6 RBIs and scored 7 runs. All in all, a very good week for him. So far this year, Woodard is batting .285 with 8 home runs. |
