Super Swinger -- Orr Slams 5 Hits Thursday, May 6th , 2004 Pete Orr did a number on the Wizards in the 5-4 Kane County victory -- and the number was 5. The Cougars second baseman banged out 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Elfstrom Stadium to lead his club past the Fort Wayne Wizards. "I felt good in the batter's box," he said. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Pete Orr doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th. For the year, Orr is batting .293 with 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and 15 runs scored. |
