Brevard County Loses Shannon Cabell for Season Sunday, June 13th , 2004 The season is finished for Shannon Cabell of the Brevard County Manatees. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Manatees reliever suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Jupiter Hammerheads. Team doctors said it would take at least 8 months to heal. Here are his stats for this season: Cabell has chalked up 2 saves and fashioned a record of 1 wins and 2 losses with a 3.26 ERA. He has made 15 relief appearances, thrown 19.1 innings and struck out 16. |
