Felix Pitches 5-0 Shutout for Grant Park Thursday, August 1st , 1991 Andres Felix of the Grant Park Minutemen shut out the Anaheim Sluggers 5-0, stopped them on 4 hits and had 8 strikeouts and 5 walks in a strong outing at Minutemen Ballpark today. "He just came out and was on the attack from the first pitch he threw," Grant Park manager Travis DeGarmo said later. "When Andres stays ahead in the count, he does well. That's the key." So far this season Felix has a 2-1 record with a 2.08 ERA. |
