Big Bat Pays Off, Kowitz Player of the Week Monday, August 26th , 1991 The Sub League 2 has made it official -- Brian Kowitz is this week's winner of the Player of the Week Award. The Madison center fielder was sensational with a .526 batting average, 4 home runs and 12 RBIs. Kowitz also had 2 walks and posted a .571 on-base percentage. For the season Kowitz is batting .281 with 133 hits and 25 home runs. He has scored 84 times and batted in 74. |
