Garza Sparkles in 3-0 Shutout
Wednesday, October 2nd , 1991
Francisco Garza was in a zone of his own most of the day, shutting out the Columbus Victory on 2 hits.

"He was too darn good for us today," grumbled Columbus manager Chris Bernard after the 3-0 loss to the Garland Catbirds.

Garza finished with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing.

In the postgame press conference, Garland manager Adam Frederick said Garza "had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. He just pitched his butt off."

This year Garza has compiled a 16-10 record with a 3.42 ERA in 30 starts.
