Stahoviak Garners SL1 Batter of the Month Award Sunday, September 1st , 1991 Scott Stahoviak may be much younger than other hitters in the Sub League 1, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 21-year-old Gilbert third baseman hit .310 with 6 home runs, 24 RBIs and 24 runs scored. Looking at his stats this year, Stahoviak has compiled a .229 batting average, while hitting 9 home runs and driving in 40 runs. He has played in 73 games and scored 38 runs. |
