Norse Whitewash Big Cats, Jones Winner Friday, August 23rd , 1991 Adam Jones of the Montgomery Norse put on a dazzling performance at Norse Ballpark today. He shut out the Dalmeny Big Cats 6-0 on a well-pitched 5-hitter, ringing up 7 strikeouts and issuing 2 walks. "I felt strong out there all day," Jones said later. So far this season, Jones has logged a 7-13 record with a 3.90 ERA. He has started 25 games, hurled 177.2 innings and registered 125 strikeouts and 58 walks. |
