Federals Blanked by Correa, 1-0 Monday, August 19th , 1991 Manny Correa of the Boise Devil Rays really strutted his stuff on the mound today with a 1-0 victory. He was almost untouchable, bewildering the Speedway Federals with a 4-hit shutout in which he struck out 7 and gave up 6 walks. Correa has gone 15-9 this season with an ERA of 2.98 and 145 strikeouts in 205.2 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .243 against him. |
