McClellan Twirls 4-0 Shutout
Friday, August 16th , 1991
The Ahtanum Tsunami ran into a buzzsaw at Ballpark of Ahtanum today as Fort Wayne Aggies starter Paul McClellan cut them down to size, 4-0, tossing a 5-hit shutout.

"That's one thing that has never changed in this game -- pitching can control hitting," Aggies manager Jamie Whittaker told reporters after the game. "Paul knows exactly what he's doing. He's not going to throw you a good pitch until you make him throw one."

In the complete game whitewash, the Fort Wayne hurler doled out 2 walks and registered 5 strikeouts.

To date this season, McClellan has a record of 5 wins and 7 losses and a 3.87 ERA. He has appeared in 25 games and struck out 78 in 128 innings.
