McClellan Tames 49ers, 1-0 Thursday, August 8th , 1991 Paul McClellan of the Fort Wayne Aggies was really in the zone as he mowed down the Sangerville hitters 1-0 in a sterling mound performance. "I'm feeling good overall," he said. "I'm executing my pitches, I'm able to hit my spots and I'm getting outs in key situations." McClellan shut down the Sangerville 49ers, blanking them on 7 hits while registering 5 strikeouts and 2 walks. Over the season McClellan has thrown 119 innings and dished out 73 strikeouts with a 4-7 mark and a 4.16 ERA. |
