North Hempstead-Little Rock Fight Results in Suspensions Monday, September 2nd , 1991 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's North Hempstead-Little Rock contest at North Hempstead Grounds. The Blues Chris Flournoy and the Grand Slam Mike Moore will have to sit out 3 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Thus far this season Flournoy has hit .190 with 9 home runs, 30 RBIs and scored 28 times. On the season Moore has compiled a 7-13 mark with a 3.45 ERA in 26 starts. In pitching 188 innings he has 194 strikeouts and 71 walks while limiting the opposition to a .221 batting average. |
