Lee #1 AL Pitcher in September Saturday, October 1st , 2005 The AL named the winner of the Pitcher of the Month Award. It went to Cliff Lee of Chicago White Sox, who impressed the voters with a glittering 4-1 record in September. The Chicago star hurler made 6 starts, allowed 33 hits in 44 innings, struck out 30 and had a 1.64 ERA. In 25 starts this season, Lee has fashioned a 12-8 record and a 3.62 ERA. |
