Braves Dealt 8-3 Loss by Philadelphia
|
Jose Guillen was a major factor in the 8-3 Philadelphia win over Atlanta. The Phillies left fielder was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The Phillies go to 64-93 with the win.
With Philadelphia leading 2-0 in the bottom of the third, Guillen hit a knuckle curve from Scott Rice for a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Phillies ahead, 4-0.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Philadelphia manager Brandon M.
