Colorado Bats Go Silent in 3-0 Loss
|
The Los Angeles Dodgers went home winners at Coors Field, thanks in large part to starter Edgar Gonzalez. Gonzalez stifled the Colorado Rockies, enabling Los Angeles to grab the 3-0 win. Andrew Oksen notched his 28th save of the season. Los Angeles is now 76-77, Colorado 93-60.
Daniel Fornes, who is tied for 2nd in the NL in total bases with 343, had a direct impact on the outcome. Fornes contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Los Angeles up, 1-0.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Fornes. "And not try to do too much."
