Paul drives in 4 runs to Fuel Braves Offense
The first-place Atlanta Braves took on the Florida Marlins in front of a spirited crowd.

The Atlanta Braves topped the Florida Marlins, 11-4, in NL action at Turner Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Atlanta left fielder Xavier Paul. Eric Knott, the winner, improved to 11-7. He held the Marlins to 3 runs on 6 hits over 7.1 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 1.

With Atlanta leading 7-3 in the bottom of the seventh, Paul came up to bat against Florida pitcher Jose De La Cruz. Paul hit a fastball to left-center for a grand slam home run. His 9th home run of the season put the Braves on top, 11-3.

"We took home the win," said Paul. "What's not to like?"

The win gives Atlanta a season record of 91-59.
