Big Day for Stewart in 11-5 Devil Rays Win
Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Milwaukee Brewers.

A 5-RBI performance from Shannon Stewart, who is tied for 9th in the AL in RBI with 46, helped the Tampa Bay Devil Rays beat the Milwaukee Brewers, 11-5. Scott Barrett got the win, improving to 8-2. He worked 7 innings, giving up 4 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 10 and walking 1.

Stewart had a crucial hit for Tampa Bay with two out in the bottom of the fourth. With Tampa Bay trailing 4-3, Stewart hit a 2-run double. It was his 10th double of the season and put the Devil Rays ahead, 5-4.

"It's always great to put the barrel on the ball and contribute," said Stewart.

The second-place Devil Rays are 38-28.
