Nationals Win, 3-1, at Atlanta
|
The Washington Nationals locked up a win at Turner Field, knocking off the Atlanta Braves, 3-1. On the mound for Washington was right-hander Aaron Harang. He played a major role in the triumph. At 55-87, the Nationals find themselves in last place in the NL East Division.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the top of the sixth inning. That's when catcher Brian McCann hit a double. The Nationals went on to win.
Harang attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
