Chicago Gets 15-6 Win Against Twins
Thanks in large part to first baseman David Freese, the Chicago White Sox beat the Minnesota Twins, 15-6. Freese went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3. Fernando Barreras notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. The second-place White Sox now have a record of 69-73.

Chicago went up, 8-6, on Adam Greenberg's 17th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Greenberg hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Minnesota pitcher Paul McCurtain muttering to himself.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Freese, "and then get after it again."
