Dodgers Get 4-2 Win Versus Chicago
|
The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Chicago Cubs, 4-2, at Dodger Stadium. Edgar Soto, in particular, was impressive. He was 2 for 2 with a double and 2 walks. With the win over Chicago, the Dodgers improved to 28-24.
With Los Angeles leading 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh, Soto hit a run-scoring single off Chicago hurler Vincent Boyanich. It was the 66th hit of the season for Soto and put his team ahead, 4-2.
Soto called the win a testament to his team's "tenacity."
