Frazier 3-for-4 to Ignite Mets Offense
Todd Frazier was a major contributor to the 9-2 New York win over Montreal. The Mets second baseman went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Madison Bumgarner, the winner, improved to 3-0. He held the Expos to 2 runs on 6 hits over 7.1 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 0. New York is 30-20 and Montreal, with the loss, 21-28.

With New York leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Frazier hit a fastball from Troy Patton for a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Mets ahead, 4-1.
