|
Riding the 3-hit performance of the four-time All-Star Chris Wakeland, the Toronto Blue Jays stopped the Minnesota Twins, 9-1, in 9 innings. Toronto is now 22-17, Minnesota 14-24.
Brandon Inge made an early impact for Toronto when he stroked his 6th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which came with one out in the top of the second, put the Blue Jays on top, 1-0.
