A 5-RBI performance from the 2004 Most Valuable Player Award winner Andruw Jones helped the Los Angeles Angels beat the Texas Rangers, 9-8. The Angels go to 22-18, putting them second in the AL West Division.

Jones contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Los Angeles in the top of the ninth. With his team trailing 8-6, Jones took a fastball from David Riske and stroked the home run to left. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Angels to leap in front, 9-8.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Jones.
