The New York Mets went down to defeat to Josh Beckett and his Houston teammates. The final score was 3-2, in favor of the Astros. In 6.2 innings, Beckett surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. Dana Eveland collected save number 9.
