Durbin K's 10 En Route to 5-1 White Sox Win
|
J.D. Durbin was superb against Minnesota. The right-hander, who is tied for 7th in the AL in strikeouts with 40, had a curveball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a White Sox victory. The score was 5-1. Chicago is third in the AL Central Division with a record of 14-19.
Durbin's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 10 strikeouts in 8.1 innings while allowing 2 hits. Durbin, who is tied for 5th in the AL with a 8.4 K/9 rate, goes to 4-3 on the year with 40 strikeouts.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Durbin.
