Phillies Lose By a Run at San Francisco
Torii Hunter was a major contributor to the 5-4 San Francisco win over Philadelphia. The Giants right fielder was 2-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Phillies drop to 11-18, as their fitful start to the 2006 campaign continues.

The Giants got a big at-bat from left fielder Bobby Abreu. For the game, Abreu was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave San Francisco a 5-3 lead.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Abreu.
