Barrett Now 4-1 After Subduing Red Sox
|
The Tampa Bay Devil Rays got great pitching from 2005 Cy Young Award winner Scott Barrett, allowing them to bump off the Boston Red Sox, 3-0. Tampa Bay, with the win, is 20-6.
Tampa Bay starter Scott Barrett pitched like a boss. The 5-foot-10 left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings.
"We did the things it takes to win a ballgame," said Tampa Bay manager Brenton S.
