Both teams had their chances, but the Texas Rangers eventually prevailed.

The Texas Rangers faced a tough opponent in Houston pitcher Steve Cameron, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Globe Life Field by a final score of 6-5. Cameron went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. The Rangers go to 43-71 with the win.

Texas got a knockout punch from Max Peppler. The pinch hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"The house was rockin'," said Peppler.
