Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros.

Atlanta Braves starter Brad Drain pitched his team past the Houston Astros, 3-2. Drain, now 3-0, was the winner. In 8.1 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. Ivan Naranjo picked up the save for Atlanta, his 3rd of the year.

Atlanta used the timely hitting of Darren Blakely to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Braves on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Brad -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Braves manager Brandon R. "He was the key to us winning."

Houston, now 3-10, continues its tough start.
