Toronto Wins, Pratt goes 4-for-4
|
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles.
The Toronto Blue Jays downed the Baltimore Orioles, 16-4. The hitting star was second baseman Scott Pratt. Pratt went 4-4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Blue Jays. At 70-55, the Blue Jays find themselves in second place in the AL East Division.
David Newhan's at-bat in the bottom of the sixth was significant, coming with the bases loaded and the game tied, 2-2. The Toronto first baseman hit a 2-run single off Noah Lowry to put the Blue Jays up.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Newhan.
