Baltimore Gets 6-4 Win
|
The Baltimore Orioles handed the New York Yankees a 6-4 defeat at Yankee Stadium. Right Fielder Sergio Contreras starred for Baltimore. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The win was credited to Jake McGee in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Heath Totten took the loss. The Orioles, at 55-64, inhabit 4th place in the AL East Division.
In the first inning, Contreras had a 2-run home run for Baltimore. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Orioles on top, 2-0.
"What's not to like about a win?" said Contreras.
