Twins Earn 1-0 Win Versus Orioles
Oriole Park at Camden Yards was the site of the home opener for the Baltimore Orioles. The contest featured a prime matchup between Travis Wood of the visiting Minnesota Twins and Tim Lincecum of the Orioles. The final score was 1-0, the Twins getting the win. Tim Lincecum turned in the best performance. Wesley Wright picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Tim Lincecum suffered the loss. Chris Honsa earned the save for Minnesota, his 1st.

Greg Halman came through with a big-time hit for Minnesota. The center fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 1-0. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Halman said.
