White Sox Snatch Late-Game, 3-2 Win
|
The Chicago White Sox faced a tough opponent in Detroit pitcher Kenshin Kawakami, but still scratched out a win at U.S. Cellular Field by a final score of 3-2 in 13 innings. Kawakami went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. The Chicago win streak is now 5 games.
The White Sox got a clutch hit from shortstop Chad Hermansen. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the White Sox.
