The Houston Astros dealt the Cincinnati Reds a 4-3 loss at Minute Maid Park. John Lindsey, who finished 5th in the NL in on-base percentage with .400 in 2004, was the star on offense. He was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Jeff Karstens got the win, improving to 12-6. He worked 7.1 innings, giving up 3 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. The win puts Houston at 59-48 this season.
