The Florida Marlins stopped the Atlanta Braves, 7-5, at Dolphin Stadium. The Marlins got a big game from Tony Rodas, who was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 4 RBI. The Marlins go to 41-60 with the win.

Lorenzo Gonzalez hit a 2-run double off Craig Glysch in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Marlins in front, 7-5. In addition to the double, Gonzalez had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Rodas told a Florida Gazette reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
