Fregoso Blasts Reds, Rockies Take Game 3, 9-6
The Colorado Rockies moved to within one game of the League Championship Series, downing the visiting Cincinnati Reds at Coors Field by a score of 9-6. Rockies right fielder Miguel Fregoso did some major damage. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The win gives the Rockies a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Division Series.

San Juan de la Maguana, Dominican Republic native Miguel Fregoso had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the seventh for the Rockies. With Colorado trailing 6-5, he hit a 2-run home run.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Fregoso said. "We did a good job of that today."
