Jammers Heading to Round 2
By a score of 1-0, the Jamestown Jammers have sealed a victory in the Round 1 over the Staten Island Yankees.

"We knew we would be in for a tough series and that's what we got," said starting pitcher Joslin Ramirez of the Jammers, who was named the series MVP. "The Yankees knew how to battle and gave us a good test."

The next test for Jamestown will come in the Round 2, after winning this series 4-1.

The Jamestown Jammers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Tri-City ValleyCats - New Jersey Cardinals series. Tri-City leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
