The Texas Rangers moved to within one game of the League Championship Series, downing the Los Angeles Angels on the road at Angel Stadium of Anaheim by a score of 6-1. Rangers left-hander Tom Gorzelanny had a strong outing. He threw 6.2 innings of 2-hit ball. The win gives the Rangers a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-5 Division Series.
