Choo Freeman did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Pittsburgh Pirates from being beaten, 13-4, to the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park. Freeman went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Stephen Strasburg earned the win, while 32-year old left-handed pitcher Will Ohman took the loss for Pittsburgh. Milwaukee is now 36-51, Pittsburgh 41-46.

In the bottom of the fourth, Milwaukee designated hitter Silvano Perez had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Perez stroked a 2-run single to left. It made the score 4-1, Milwaukee. For the game, he went 2-4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"We maximized our offense today," said Milwaukee skipper Brian Boyd. "That makes everyone's life easier."
