Giants Use Late Score to Top Dodgers, 1-0
San Francisco got an elite performance from starting pitcher Matt Garza in securing a 1-0 decision over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Reliever Mark Woodyard picked up the win. His record improves to 5-13. David Humen took the loss. The Giants now own a record of 73-88.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when San Francisco center fielder Dustin Majewski, facing Andrew Oksen, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Giants the 1-0 win.

Majewski attributed the win to his team's "collective resolve."
