Fish in Command, No-Hits Giants
Excitement reigned at Peoria Sports Complex as AZL Padres hurler Robert Fish tossed a baseball rarity -- a no-hitter.

After defeating the AZL Giants, 1-0, he was swamped by reporters in the clubhouse for postgame comments.

"I'm just glad to be here," Fish said. "Today I just went right at the Giants as hard as I could, as long as I could."

Fish chalked up 15 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk in his superb performance.

"I don't think they could have stopped him with a howitzer today," said AZL manager Brian Grimes.
