The Texas Rangers got a superb performance from pitcher Brad Penny, but the Cincinnati Reds still won the game, 5-4. Penny threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The Reds have an impressive 50-19 record.

Cincinnati got a game-changing hit from Raul Romero. The first baseman blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the 15th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Scott Smith, the Cincinnati skipper.
