Dodgers Top White Sox, 3-1
|
The Los Angeles Dodgers converted a terrific effort from starter Johan Santana into a win over the Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field. The Dodgers won the game by a final score of 3-1. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for Los Angeles.
Los Angeles used the timely hitting of Edgar Soto to capture the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Dodgers on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.
"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Santana.
