SL1 Announces March's Best Starter Thursday, April 1st , 1915 The top pitcher this past month in the Conference 1 was Bill Miller of the Brooklyn HS River Rats. He really bewildered league hitters, finishing March with an excellent 8-0 record and 0.76 ERA. The River Rats hurler made 9 starts and surrendered 43 hits in 70.2 innings. He struck out 64 and walked 20. |
