Milwaukee HS's Glenn, Pitcher of the Year Award Winner Sunday, June 10th , 1917 Bruce Glenn of the Milwaukee HS Bucs is in the spotlight today. He was acclaimed the best pitcher in the Conference 2 and will be honored with the 1917 Pitcher of the Year Award. He started 15 games and compiled a 7-4 record with an ERA of 1.34 in 100.2 innings with 37 strikeouts. He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 16. Herman Seacrest of the Salt Lake City HS Brawlers finished second in voting with 7 first place votes, while Gene Hawkins of the Lincoln HS Lake Monsters finished third.
